The Goose Lake Senior Citizens met on March 20th at the Goose Lake Community Center for a potluck dinner and afternoon of playing 500 cards.
There were 18 Seniors present.
Peggy Jenkins with Bickford Assisted Living was present to take blood pressure readings. Marie Bormann gave the dinner prayer followed by everyone enjoying the potluck dinner.
A get well card for Bonnie Murphy was signed by all and mailed to her. Hopefully she will return to Seniors in the near future. She is greatly missed by everyone.
Helpers included Marie Bormann, Ken and Betty Banowetz, Joan Slapnicka, Duetta Banowetz, Pat Driscoll, Shirlie Andresen, and Jan Bormann. Thanks went to all others who helped.
Marilyn and Loren Peters celebrated their 69th anniversary on March 27th, Congratulations went to them.
500 cards were played with prizes going to Rita Powers, Loren Peters, Duetta Banowetz, and Joan Slapnicka.
The Seniors will meet on Apiril 17th with a potluck dinner at 11:30 A.M. at the Goose Lake Community Center. Card playing will follow the dinner.
All Seniors are welcome to attend. All are welcome.
