The Goose Lake Senior Citizens met on June 18th at the Goose Lake City Hall at 11:30. June birthdays were Pat Driscoll – Joan Slapnicka – Betty Wiebers – Beverly Gaffinet and Shirley Andreson. Doris and Joe Hoffmann had an anniversary. There were 27 men and women present with one new member – Dianne Brady. Those with June birthdays opened the meeting with prayer and everyone sang happy birthday. They brough treats for everyone. Peggy Jenkins took pressure readings, thanks Peggy. Jan Bormann visited for a while, she is recuperating from surgery and she made a donation to the club. We thank her. A pot luck lunch was served. 500 cards were played and prizes were won by 1st Marrianne Jess, 2nd Rita Powers, 3rd Dianne Brady and door prize to Joanne Corey. Thanks to all who helped.
