The Goose Lake Senior Citizens met on May 21st with 25 women and men present. Lucy Schoel opened the meeting with prayer. Peggy Jenkins was present to take pressure readings for everyone. Many thanks to Peggy. Get well wishes and a card went to Jan Bormann who had surgery.
500 cards were enjoyed by everyone. Prizes were won by Rita Powers, Betty Wiebers, Debra Hoffman and Betty Banowetz. A delicious dinner was enjoyed by everyone. There were two new members; Brian Burken and Judy Lorissaert.
The group will meet on June 18th at the Goose Lake City Hall for a potluck dinner and card playing. All seniors are welcome to attend. Birthdays were Peggy Jenkins, Doris Hoffmann, Joanne Corey and Richard Konalel. Treats were brought.
