The Goose Lake Senior Citizens met on April 16th at the Goose Lake Community Center with 21 men & women present. Lucelle Schoel opened the meeting with prayer. Peggy Jenkins was present to take pressure readings for everyone. Many thanks to Peggy. Helpers included Betty & Ken Banowetz , Lucelle Schoel, Bonnie Murphy, Duetta Banowetz, Pat Driscoll and Jan Bormann. April birthdays were Betty Banowetz, Lucelle Schoel, Donna Rack, Steve Loussaert. Rita Powers had a March birthday and they all brought treats. 500 cards were enjoyed by everyone and prizes were won by Doris Hoffman (first), Joanne Corey (second), Duetta Banowetz (third) and Mardella Ruchotzke (door prize). Next month will meet on May 21stwith a pot luck dinner at 11:30 followed by playing cards. All seniors are welcome. Any questions please contact Jan Bormann.
