Katie Green, formerly of DeWitt, Iowa, will present The Walking Journey of Camino de Santiago: Portugal & Spain Tuesday, April 1, 2025. The Camino de Santiago (Way of St. James) is a network of ancient routes converging at the tomb of St. James in northwest Spain. This Travelogue will share the experience Katie, and her mother Lori Green, took in walking from Porto, Portugal, to Santiago de Compostela, Spain. They experienced beautiful scenery and a variety of architecture. Artwork ranging from intricate religious carvings to modern day graffiti murals. The food varied from small shop bakeries to family style cooked over an outdoor burner to true “foodie” restaurants. Katie will share photos and their stories from the two week journey. Buen Camino!
And it’s Root Beer Float Day compliments of LincolnWay Community Foundation!
