April 12th marked the official Grand opening of the Sip and Stitch.  Lindsey and Travis Kieffer were pleased to great so many community members at their new shop in Sabula. The Grand Opening Event was very well attended as the community came out to support a new local business and see all that there is to offer within. Sweet Springs, a local bakery is a featured in the displays.  It is a veteran owned business specializing in gluten free items. Several other local crafters and photographers are featured in the gift section of the store, as well as specially selected books, children’s education items, jewelry, and so much more.  Quilting materials and sewing related items are also a part of this new business and eventually another area of the building will be open for local sewers to utilize.

Lindsey and Travis posted, “We’re still buzzing from such a fun and amazing day! The community’s welcome was incredible, and we’re so grateful for everyone who came out. We can’t wait to meet more of the community and see what our little place will grow into! Stop by to try our coffee and smoothie drinks, check out the gift items and quilting fabric.”

Several colorful bolts of material are in stock, along with many specialty items.

Bridgette served up the first brew of the day after she and Tyra got the coffee and expresso machines going.
