The pitching of Justin Weisfpenning led the way as he tossed a one hitter with seven strikeouts. Offense broke out with an eleven run first inning and coasted to victory. James Buhlman led the way with four hits including two doubles, three RBI’s, Jeremy Weisfpenning with two hits including a double and four RBI’s.
Overall the River Hawks had sixteen hits with the win conference record improves to seven wins and six losses and conference to five wins and two losses. Good for second place in conference.
Game two also had a solid pitching performance by Jeremy Weisfpenning who pitched four two-thirds inning with ten strikeouts and only four hits allowed. Kameron Wilson led the offense with two hits and two RBI’s including the game winning hit in the bottom of the five inning. Aiden Feddersen also had two hits and two RBI’s including a double. With the win River Hawks overall record improves to eight wins and six losses. Conference record six wins and two losses. Upcoming home game on Tuesday July 1st with Camanche on Senior Night.
