Make sure children in our communities have food on the weekends by purchasing the following items and dropping them off inside the front main doors of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Every weekend we make sure that food is sent home with elementary school students at Easton Valley who need easy-to-prepare, kid-friendly meals. The Riverhawk Assistance Program is housed at St. John’s and is looking for people to pack bags! Some items needed are: canned ravioli with meat sauce, mac and cheese, canned chicken noodle soup, Chef Boyardee cheese pizza kits, summer sausage, peanut butter, jelly, canned green beans, corn, peas, carrots, applesauce cups, fruit cups, canned fruit such as mandarin oranges, cereal, oatmeal packets, Pop-Tarts, cheese and crackers, granola bars, fruit snacks, or any kid friendly healthy snack.
