The library director was surprised with a donation of the new Caitlin Clark book which is being used to raise funds for her foundation and her former youth traveling team.  Since Caitlin Clark is a very popular person, it was decided that the first prize drawing of the day would be the option to be the first to check the book out.  Of course, there is a waiting list for the book once it is returned to the library.

 

Recycled pool noodles and a few embellishments make for fun creatures- chickens, roosters, T-rex, etc.

 

Some feathers were skillfully added to a slice of a pool noodle to create a beautiful peacock.

 

Simple everyday items and imagination make wonderful pieces of art.

 

A group sculpture in the works! Log dripping honey. bees and insects, grass and stone paths and flowers. Layer by layer many recycled items and paint is being added. What will the final product look like- only time will tell.
