Preston American Legion & Auxiliary Post 602 plus Amvets Post 140, and Area Veterans held their Christmas Party at Genos of Preston. We had a great attendance, Legion Commander Steve Trenkamp Welcomed the guest and thanked everyone for attending, Genos staff did a great job of serving pizza and drinks to our guest. After this meal, Commander Steve asked everyone to please Thank our local businesses for their support, Every Business in the Preston area gave a donation to support us. Our Legion Finance Officer Dennis Bormann was recognized and thanked for all his work of collecting these donations. Then Carolyn Grant was presented with a gift certificate as a token of our appreciation for all the countless hours spent updating the list of Veterans buried in the Cemeteries we care for, and for all the time spent writing grants for the various projects we undertake, and for the very interesting Veterans Day Program at the Easton Valley High School Honoring a local Veteran that served in 3 Wars, WW2, KOREAN, and VIETNAM. Chief Master Sargeant Kenneth L. Strom and his family. Our Raffle was very successful, The winners of 100. Dollar Bills were AUSTIN JENSEN, D.J. BUDDE, and DON LARSEN. Then the door prize drawing, winners DONNA BANOWETZ and LELAND LANE. After the drawings we enjoyed several games of Bingo, with a good time had by all.
