Annual Holiday Festival & 33rd Annual Festival of Trees starts first weekend in December in Preston

The tradition of the Holiday Festival returns December 6-8 in Preston to signal the beginning of the holiday season with this year’s theme “A Cozy Little Christmas”.  Santa will be in town on Friday and Saturday, and there are events for all ages! The Holiday Festival will take place at the Preston Town Hall (42 W. Gillet St.) beginning on December 6th 5-9 p.m. December 7th 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and wrapping up the weekend on Sunday December 8th 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

• Tree Setup/Decoration will be available beginning on Thursday, December 5th starting at Noon. You must provide your own extension cord.
• Tear down must be completed by Sunday, December 8th starting at 2 p.m.
• If you plan to setup a tree, please get in contact with Kendra Driscoll (563-212-9566)

The Preston Holiday Festival Committee is assembling an ‘Around the Town’ themed gift basket full of gift cards from local businesses! Proceeds from the raffle tickets will help fund the decorating that takes place during the festival weekend. Gift baskets will be raffled off on Sunday, December 8th at 2 p.m. If you’re interested in donating a gift card or would like to donate a gift basket or raffle item, please reach out to Kendra at (563-212-9566)

Again, we would like to ask businesses and homes to decorate for this fun-filled weekend. Everyone does an amazing job in making the town look terrific.
