
Rick Casel’s Leadership Class (Bellevue High School) visited and played games with the residents and assisted the residents with “Crafts with Bea” (hosted by volunteer Bea Hansen) during the afternoon on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue, Iowa.
A big Thank You to all the families, friends, residents, tenants, staff, volunteers, churches, businesses, schools, teachers, students, and musicians, who contributed to making our week so enjoyable and memorable for the residents and tenants. Your visits, sharing your gifts and time mean the world to everyone here.

Special Thanks to David Eischeid (volunteer art instructor) and Mary Kubik (volunteer assisting Dave) for visiting and hosting “Artwork with David and Mary” (an artwork class), and Laurie Anderson (volunteer assisting the residents) during the morning on Wednesday and helping our small group of resident/tenant art students unlock their art talents with Joy M. (staff).
We are excited to announce Millennium Therapy for providing weekly therapeutic activities to enhance the quality of life by promoting physical health, cognitive function and emotional well-being. Thanks to Kelly O’Donnell (Occupational Therapist) for providing our weekly therapeutic session with the residents exercising during the midmorning on Wednesday, with Theresa S. & Joy M. (staff); and thanks to A.J. Bishop (Physical Therapist) for providing our weekly therapeutic session with the tenants at the Sunrise Villa Assisted Living (SVAL) during the midmorning on Monday.
Thanks to Mrs. Kim Moore (Instructor, Marquette Catholic High School) and her class of students who came for a visit and played various games with the tenants (at the SVAL) during the afternoon on Wednesday.
