We are introducing a new section called, “Remember When”. We asked the residents this question: “Did you play any ‘Sports’ in High School?”

Delbert W. said that “I played Baseball, Basketball, and ran in Track. I think that Basketball was my favorite sport. I wasn’t very good, and I only played my Senior year in high school. I played for the Preston School System. I played Baseball and wherever they put me in. I never hit a homerun. For Track, I had to run around the light poles of the baseball field. It was about a mile around the poles. Gary Feuerbach did the “shot put” when I was in school. Gary was younger than me. Gary’s dad was our veterinarian on the farm. Good Memories!”

(We want to thank Delbert W. for sharing his memories of “the past” with us. Hopefully, reminiscing with Delbert, will bring some smiles to your face, as you read this article.)
