We are introducing a new section called, “Remember When”. We asked the residents this question: “Did you play any ‘Sports’ in High School?”

Donald “Ducky” H. remembers: “I went too Holy Rosary ‘Rollers’ Catholic School in LaMotte, Iowa. I played a little football and a little baseball. I played every position in baseball. We had a pretty big gang, and we could switch around to different positions. My favorite position was outfield. We had a big parking lot, and we used that for games and then we switched to the field! Ahh, … the ‘good times and memories’, … us ‘Holy Rollers’ at the school in LaMotte, Iowa!”

(We want to thank Donald “Ducky” and family for sharing his memories of “the past” with us. Hopefully, sharing and reminiscing this, will bring some smiles to your face, as you read this article.)
