Manicures” were held with the residents at the Mill Valley Care Center (MVCC) during the afternoon on Friday with Theresa S. (staff).
“Music with Ray & Doris Theisen” was held for/with the residents (at the MVCC) during the noontime on Friday.
“Dominoes Games” were held with the residents during the afternoon on Friday. “Ice Cream Sundaes” were served after the games.
Special Thanks to Kelby Mueller for hosting “Music with Kelby” for/with the residents (at the MVCC) and the tenants [at the Sunrise Villa Assisted Living (SVAL)] during the evening time on Sunday.
“Bunco Poker and Reminiscing” games were held with the residents during midmorning on Monday with Theresa S. (staff).
“Baking Cookies and Dominoes” games were held with the residents during the afternoon on Monday with Theresa S. (staff). Thanks to Kindal Klein (Dietary Supervisor) for her assistance with this Activity.
Thanks to Chef Kevin Hebert (Executive Chef, HealthCare of Iowa) for visiting the MVCC and hosting a live cooking demonstration (activity) in front of an involved audience of residents, family members, staff, volunteers, and visitors during the afternoon on Tuesday. The afternoon MVCC Food Activity featured (making & serving): Turkey cranberry & Swiss quesadilla’s with garlic aioli, Baked crostini’s with bacon onion, cheddar cheese green onion, and Egg nogg cupcakes! Chef Kevin prepared a Breakfast for the SVAL tenants that featured peach melba French toast for breakfast during the midmorning on Tuesday. (Yummy!! All Delicious!!)

“Wheel Of Fortune” word games were held with the residents (at the MVCC) during the midmorning on Wednesday with Theresa S. (staff).
Thanks to Jeanne Weber, with Maryetta Lampe, Linda Bennett, and Lynn Muhlenhaupt (family/volunteers) for assisting at the “Bingo” games. These were followed by “Euchre” games, all held with the residents and tenants during the afternoon on Wednesday with Theresa S. (staff).
“Chair Exercises” were held with the residents (at the MVCC) during the midmorning on Thursday with Theresa S. (staff).
Thanks to Michelle Johnson, Jo Ernst, and Liz Barry (volunteers), with Linda Bennett and Lynn Muhlenhaupt (family/volunteers) for hosting “Bingo Games with the American Legion Auxiliary Ladies”, held with the residents (at the MVCC) during the afternoon on Thursday with Theresa S. (staff). (The residents were served ice cream sundaes after the games.)
