Special Thanks to all the residents, tenants, families, staff, volunteers, and to all the involved participants for joining together during our Annual Christmas Exchange, making this Christmas one of the “very best ever”, during the afternoon on Friday. Thanks to Marlyce T. (tenant, volunteer) for leading the Rosary prayers for the Catholic tenants at the Sunrise Villa Assisted Living (SVAL) on Sunday midmornings during this month.
“Coffee, Rolls, and Conversation” was enjoyed by the tenants and families at the SVAL during Sunday morning.
“Exercises with Ring Toss” games were held with the residents during midmorning on Monday with Theresa S. (staff).
“Table Games” were held with the residents during the midmorning on Monday with Theresa S. (staff).
Special Thanks to Jr. Steines (volunteer) for hosting “Euchre Games” with the residents at the Mill Valley Care Center (MVCC) during the afternoon on Monday.
“Games” were held with the tenants during the afternoon of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Thanks to Peggy Althaus, Mary Sieverding, and Donna Sieverding (volunteers) for hosting “Christmas Bingo” games held with the tenants (at the SVAL) during the afternoon on Tuesday.
“Christmas Eve Caroling with some Gift Exchanging” with the residents and tenants singing-along to favorite Traditional Christmas songs were held during the afternoon on Tuesday with Theresa S. & Joy M. (staff).
Christmas Day was spent connecting with the resident’s and tenant’s families and friends; enjoying a Christmas meal or simple outings with their loved ones made for “Priceless Times” being together.
On this Christmas Day, we wish for One and All, “a very Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, and May God Bless”.
