Thanks to Larry L. & family who celebrated his birthday this past week and for sharing his birthday with us!
We want to send our deepest sympathy to the families and friends of Julie Tenney who passed away this past week. She will be greatly missed!

We are introducing a new section called, “You get The Last Word”. We asked the residents to finish the following sentence: “Did you ever collect things when you were growing up?” Gert V. (resident) mentioned ,“I collected books. Before COVID, I read David Beldache, Lee Childs, and James Patterson. Now, I like Robyn Carr, Susan Malory, and Linda Howard. During COVID, I couldn’t go to the Bellevue Library, so I got paperbacks. I have 5 shelves of books! I love reading my books!” (P.S. “Books are a uniquely portable magic!”) (We want to thank Gert V. and family for sharing her memories of “the past and present” with us. Hopefully, sharing memories and reminiscing will bring some smiles to your face, as you read this article.)
