Lion Nancy Burken presented Jennifer and Joel Brown with the August Yard of the Month Certificate. The Browns are congratulated for their eye-catching combination of yard art and flowers that include a vintage wheelbarrow, and chairs filled with petunias. Additional flowerpots and tubs display calibrachoa, dahlias, and succulents at their home on Harrison Street. Jennifer and Joel received a $25 local gift certificate, photo on Miles City Facebook, in the Preston Times, on local cable TV, and will display the Miles Lions Yard of the Month sign for a month.
September Yard of the Month nominations are now being accepted in the collection boxes at Miles Lumber and Hardware and Miles City Hall.
