The Preston Methodist Church held its Annual Soup Supper at the Preston Town Hall.  Over 230 meals were served and a variety of baked goods and fall harvest items were sold at the bake sale. Many chose to stay and eat their soup, sandwiches and desserts in fellowship with family and friends, but some meals were taken to go, especially for those farmers working in the fields.

Jim and Mary Vorland greeted their guests and enjoyed talking with many community members.

Linda Budde and Carol Struve discussed favorite recipes and gave each other cooking hints while looking over all the bake goods and harvest items that were for sale.

Marie Rossmann helped the attendees pick out desserts from a variety spread out before them.

A variety of soups were featured at the meal.
