The local Preston Girl Scout stopped at the library during their final meeting until school resumes. They shared the information they learned about fresh water (only 3% of earth’s water is fresh water) and the importance of not wasting it and keeping our water supplies clean. The scouts also dropped off packets of information, games, and activities that teach about the things they learned. These packets are available to patrons on a first come first serve basis.

The Girl scouts presented a short talk about their project and shared their findings with those in the library at the time.
