The Fourth Annual Betty Farrell Memorial Halloween Party was held on a beautiful fall day at Westside Park in Preston. A costume Parade led by a giant T-Rex started off the event that was held around the walking path (1/3-mile loop), games and activities were played, music was played and some participated in karaoke with Momma J.. Picnic lunches were served by the Preston Lions Club, and the park equipment was filled with costumed children enjoying time with their friends. Two new features at the Halloween party included a petting zoo with a goat, miniature ponies, rabbits, ducks and more. AND the Clinton County Sherriff’s Department drove their Barrel Train Ride around the park with the sirens blaring and lights flashing on the four-wheeler pulling the riders in their individual barrel cars. All sorts of photo opportunities/ Halloween themed boards with face holes were scattered throughout the park and helped make additional special moments for all the families in attendance. Most importantly, it was a great day of community gathering, being silly, having fun and creating memories.
