The Leap After School Program consists of a variety of activities and clubs head after school hours. Ms. Housenga, elementary art teacher and a high school drama coach established a drama cub. The students learn about blocking and staging and how to interpret and read their lines for the final performance. The club does not require memorization of the lines as the focus is on all the other aforementioned skills involved in a successful production. Members of the high school drama department assist with the program.
Tucker Christiansen was a narrator for the first production and helped with set changes in between lines.
The grasshopper played Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star as the Rabbit listened and warmed itself by the hearth.
The second production performed included a pioneering group of individuals and their livestock.
Ms Housenga and an up-and-coming group of Easton Valley Drama students.
