The Easton Valley Hall of Fame Committee works year-round to plan for each year’s Hall of Fame Induction and Banquet Ceremony. This year’s ceremony will take place at the Easton Valley Elementary Gym in Miles on Saturday evening, October 4th. A social hour begins at 5PM along with a tour of the building, with a meal following at 6:00PM. The induction ceremony begins at 7PM. Meal tickets for members of the general public to attend the ceremony will be on sale beginning September 10th and ending at noon on September 19th. Contact Marsha at the high school for meal tickets (563- 689-4221)- tickets in previous years have sold out quickly so it is recommended that you get tickets early.
The Hall of Fame Committee is searching for sponsors for each banquet table. Table sponsorships are $100 each and includes table recognition and recognition in the banquet program. Each table may be sponsored by a business, organization, family unit or from an individual.
And finally, the committee is also looking for sponsors for each of the awards to be handed out. Each football team member gets and individual award, just like the other inductees. Anyone wishing to sponsor any individual honoree or team member may do so at a cost of $50 per award. A special card will be placed inside the award box letting the inductee know who sponsored them. Again, sponsors may be a business, organization, family unit or from an individual.
The sponsorships of tables and awards help to defray the cost of the awards, mailings, printing of the brochures and advertising. Thank you as always for your support of the Hall of Fame Event.
Members of the Easton Valley Hall of Fame Committee met recently and made decisions about the presenters, decorations, meal and brochures for the Hall of Fame Induction, as well as arranging for the parade floats and the activities at the Homecoming football game.
