This year’s spring musical is Something Rotten. The drama department did an intense deep dive on Shakespeare last fall with Midsummer Night’s Dream, so the cast has chosen to pair it up with this comedic musical. Set during the Renaissance, two brothers who are also playwrights can’t get work, because Shakespeare is so brilliant, so they seek out a fortune teller to see what the next big hit will be. The songs are hilarious, and the acting, sets, costumes and choreography are first rate. anyone wishing to sponsor the program and to help defray the cost of the scripts, sets and props, etc. can contact the High School office and one of the students will be in touch with you to discuss details. The Performances are set for Friday and Saturday nights, April 11th and 12th at 7pm and Sunday, April 13th at 2pm.

A favorite duo in several of Easton Valley productions. What antics will they find themselves in in the production of Something Rotten.

Running through their lines and staging as the early stages of the production take shape.

Timing, spacing, blocking and of course all the layers of acting the part takes time and dedication from all involved, including the stage crew, and sound and lighting crew.

Jay Pauley directs the students as they sing one of many songs in the musical, Something Rotten.
