The EV golf teams headed to Kernoustie Golf Club in Mt. Vernon for a dual meet against Lisbon on Tuesday, April 15th. The tricky course and some very windy conditions gave us some challenges, and the EV golfers came up just a bit short for the wins…the boys lost by 3 strokes and the girls by just 1 stroke. We did have some individual medalists.
BOYS:
TEAM: EV 171, Lisbon 168
Medalist: Tyler Sauser-Lisbon, 36
Runner Up: Justin Weispfenning, 37
Even though Nolan Sandholdt didn’t medal at this meet, he shot an impressive 39!
GIRLS:
TEAM: EV 175, Lisbon 176
Medalist: Addie Fier 40 (cardback)
Runner Up: Kyla Kahl-Lisbon, 40
Next week has lots of golf!
Tuesday, the boys head to Valley Oaks in Clinton for a dual meet with POP at 4:00 pm.
Wednesday, the girls go to the Maquoketa Invitational for 18 holes of golf with a noon start time.
Thursday, we host Marquette boys and girls at Preston Valley, beginning at 4 pm.
Friday, the boys and girls head to Valley Oaks for the 10 am 18-hole Camanche Invitational.
