Calvary Lutheran Church knows the best way to share God’s love is to serve others. They did this again by hosting their third annual free community Halloween gathering during Trick-or-treating in Sabula. Kids were welcomed by a Harry Potter castle and Beetlejuice archway. They then were able to play games, take a photo in front of the balloon arch created by “Homegrown Boutique and Energy”, get a balloon animal made by Jeanne Ohms, trick or treat at different stations, grab a drink and sweet treat inside, and pick a free book gifted by the congregation members of Calvary Lutheran Church. Outside kids were greeted by different characters from children’s movies to interact with. Inside these costumes were 4 volunteers from CLC congregation and 10 students from Easton Valley, Clinton, and Northeast High Schools. Next year the church will go back to where it all began, with a yard full of dinosaurs…. And other surprises! #LiveGenerously
