River Hawks hung with St. Mary’s in game one trailing just 6-3 in the 6th inning before losing 10-5. Isaac Feller and Jeremy Weispfenning led the offense with a hit and run scored each. Freshman Kameron Wilson pitched a solid inning allowing no runs.

River Hawks bounced back in game two with an exciting walk off two run single from Justin Weispfenning to win game two by a score of 11-10. Leading the offense was Callan Messerich with three hits and an RBI, Wyatt Sullivan with an RBI double, Aiden Eickert with a two RBI double and Justin Weispfenning with the game winning two RBI single. Blake Bowling played a solid game at short stop for the River Hawks. River Hawks trailed 10-5 at one point in the game but rallied back to win an exciting win. Next week River Hawks travel to Cal Wheat for Conference Double header on Monday, Alburnett, Home on Thursday and travel to Cascade Friday. Until next time “Go River Hawks”
