Preston American Legion Auxiliary met on May 12, 2025 at the American Legion Building. 9 Members were in attendance and recited the Pledge of Allegiance and the Preamble to the Legion Auxiliary. A moment of silence was held for departed veterans and auxiliary members.
Diane moved and Megan seconded to approve the minutes. Motion carried.
Jeanette moved and Diane seconded to approve the Treasurer’s Report. Motion carried.
Discussion Items for Upcoming Events:
Bellevue Tractor Ride scheduled for May 31, 2025. Serving Luncheon at 12:00 noon at the Joel Frett’s residence for all tractor riders.
Lion’s Club Dinner on April 16
Memorial Day –May 26, 2025- Serving luncheon at Park for Legion members.
Preston Fun Days – June 13 and 14.
Quilts of Valor Show-September 13-14
Poppy cans will be distributed around town to businesses.
May 12 is due date for 50/50 drawing tickets. Thank you to Ellowyn Ernst for drawing Shawna Roling’s name. Big Thank you Shawna for kindly donating your share of the winnings ($756.50) back to the Auxiliary.
