We are excited to announce Millennium Therapy for providing weekly therapeutic activities to enhance the quality of life by promoting physical health, cognitive function and emotional well-being. Thanks to Kelly O’Donnell (Occupational Therapist) for providing our weekly therapeutic session with the residents exercising during the midmorning on Wednesday, with Theresa S. & Joy M. (staff); and thanks to A.J. Bishop (Physical Therapist) for providing our weekly therapeutic session with the tenants at the Sunrise Villa Assisted Living during the midmorning on Monday.
Thanks to Kindal Klein (Dietary Supervisor) for her assistance with Activities during this past week, etc. Thanks to Linda Bennett for her donation of a wireless boombox to the Activity department. Thanks to Jill Majerus (volunteer) for assisting Activities and the residents during this past week. Thanks to family of Lee Buchanan for their donations of items. The 2025 National Skilled Nursing Care Week (NSNCW) theme is “Tapestry of Life”. This theme highlights the unique stories and connections that make up the lives of residents, families, caregivers, and staff in skilled nursing care centers. It celebrates the resilience and strength of everyone involved.
We celebrated “Mother’s Day” with “Music with Kelby” during the noontime on Sunday.

Thanks to Rick Casel (Instructor, BHS) and his class of students who came for a visit and played various games with the residents and tenants during the afternoon, both inside and outside on Monday, sprinkled with games and Root Beer Floats.
On Tuesday, “Flower Arrangements” were made and given to the Nurses (Nursing Department) and all staff in one celebration during the afternoon on Tuesday and Wednesday.
“Outside Porch” was enjoyed throughout the week, with ice cream sundaes being served.
“Springtime Crafts” were created with the residents and tenants during the afternoon on Thursday; followed by outside porch.
Dietary Department staff provided delicious “Shirley Temples” for the staff and residents/tenants enjoy on Thursday.
“Planted Plants in a raised Garden” (an activity) with the residents and tenants blossomed during these past weeks.
