A big Thank You to all the families, friends, residents, tenants, staff, volunteers, churches, businesses, schools, teachers, students, and musicians, who contributed to making our week so enjoyable and memorable for the residents and tenants. Your visits, sharing your gifts and time mean the world to everyone here.

We would like to recognize our amazing volunteers for their continued support and dedication. You truly make a difference! We Thank our volunteers for assisting Activities this week: (Bingo – Villa): Rita Miller, Molly Ploessl, Mary Kubik; (Bingo with Catholics): Laura Steines, Pat Roling, Lynn Muhlenhaupt, Maryetta Lampe; with Linda Bennett, Susan Eversole, Kindal Klein, Kayla Blaser, Alison Meier, Courtney Maxwell; Lenae Sieverding (Administrator), and Anonymous.

Thanks to Kindal Klein (Dietary Supervisor) for her assistance with Activities during this past week, baking “pigs in the blanket”, etc. Thanks to Judy Manning and Anonymous for their donations of items during this past week. Thanks to everyone for their assistance and support with all the “individualized” activities/events during this past week.

Thanks to Rick Casel (Instructor, BHS) and his class of students who came for a visit and played various games with the residents and tenants during the afternoon on Thursday.

We are excited to announce Millennium Therapy for providing weekly therapeutic activities to enhance the quality of life by promoting physical health, cognitive function and emotional well-being. Thanks to Kelly O’Donnell (Occupational Therapist) for providing our weekly therapeutic session with the residents (making & frosting cookies) during midmorning on Wednesday, with Theresa S., Susan E., and Joy M. (staff); and thanks to A.J. Bishop (Physical Therapist) for providing our weekly therapeutic session with the tenants at the Sunrise Villa Assisted Living during the midmorning on Monday.

Special Thanks with appreciation to the classes of Mrs. Emily Reeg (First Grade Teacher) and Mrs. Amanda Michels (First Grade Teacher), a total of 42 students from the Bellevue Elementary School (Bellevue, Iowa) for joining us in our “Annual Easter Egg Hunt” activity at the MVCC and SVAL and for bringing their own homemade Easter Baskets with them during the afternoon on Thursday. Thanks for the wonderful Homemade Easter Cards that the students made for the residents and tenants; it was appreciated. We all had an Awesome time together!! Special Thanks with appreciation to Mrs. Jeanette Hartung-Schroeder (Principal, Bellevue Elementary School) and all those involved in making this event possible.! (P.S. May God Bless Us One & All!
