
Willard F. (resident) recently was awarded the “Slam Dunk March Madness Winner” certificate and basketball trophy on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue, Iowa.
A big Thank you to all the families, friends, residents, tenants, staff, volunteers, churches, businesses, schools, teachers, students, and musicians, who contributed to making our week so enjoyable and memorable for the residents and tenants. Your visits, sharing your gifts and time mean the world to everyone here.

Kindal Klein (Dietary Supervisor) for her assistance with Activities during this past week, baking cookies, etc. Thanks to Anonymous for their donations of items during this past week. Thanks to everyone for their assistance and support with all the “individualized” activities/events during this past week.
Thanks to Rick Casel (Instructor, BHS) and his Class of students who came for a visit and played various games with the residents and tenants during the afternoon on Thursday.
We are excited to announce Millennium Therapy for providing weekly therapeutic activities to enhance the quality of life by promoting physical health, cognitive function and emotional well-being. Thanks to Kelly O’Donnell (Occupational Therapist) for providing our weekly therapeutic session with the residents during midmorning on Wednesday, with Susan & Joy (staff); and thanks to A.J. Bishop (Physical Therapist) for providing our weekly therapeutic session with the tenants at the Sunrise Villa Assisted Living during the midmorning on Monday.
Our sympathies go out to the family and friends of Eldora S. Steines, who passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025. She will be greatly missed. (P.S. Eldora “got her wings”, I think)
