Thanks to Rick Casel (Instructor, BHS) and his Class of students who came for a visit and played various games with the residents and tenants during the afternoon on Monday.
Chef Kevin Hebert (HealthCare of Iowa) arrived and prepared breakfast (at the SVAL) and then presented a food demonstration (at the MVCC) for the residents and tenants during the afternoon on Tuesday. Menu Sampling: Mexican meatballs with Mexicali sauce, green onion, black olives & fried tortilla strips, Rueben wonton cups with Thousand Island dressing and chopped parsley, and Mini Oreo cheesecakes with chocolate sauce & whipped cream.

Special Thanks to David Eischeid (volunteer art instructor) for visiting and hosting “Artwork with David” (an artwork class) during the morning on Wednesday and helping our small group of resident/tenant art students unlock their art talents with Susan & Joy (staff).

We are excited to announce Millennium Therapy will be providing weekly therapeutic activities to enhance the quality of life by promoting physical health, cognitive function and emotional well-being. Thanks to Kelly O’Donnell (Occupational Therapist) for providing our first weekly therapeutic session with the residents during midmorning on Wednesday, with Susan & Joy (staff).
