Ambassador animals play a vital role at any nature center, zoo/aquarium, interpretive center, museum etc. They act as a spoke’s person for their species, and teach about things such as endangered species, habitat loss, pollution, exotic pets, illegal animal trafficking, and more.

Get a chance to meet the animals who call the Interpretive Center home. Hear what they have to teach, their roles in the ecosystem and as ambassadors, and their day-to-day life at the center. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the animals. All ages are encouraged to attend.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required at least 48 hours in advance. Please contact Jackson County Conservation for more information or to register at (563) 652-3783 or email [email protected].
