This time of year, is always quite heartbreaking as we finished our Varsity season this past week. Monday was the first round of regionals in which the River Hawks hosted the Marquette defenders. In a 3-game sweep, the River Hawks took the win in scores of 25-20, 25-17 and 25-23! This victory took us to the 2nd round which took place at Springville on Wednesday. The night began well as we secured game 1 in a score of 25-21! Game 2 did not go as well in a defeat of 14-25 but the River Hawks came back with determination, barely losing to the Orioles in games of 21-25 and 19-25. This group of athletes definitely came to give the Orioles a run for their money! I am so very proud of their effort and play…. this group has really shown perseverance, team unity, flexibility, and passion for the game! We would like to thank all our fans…whether you traveled to watch or watched online, we sure appreciated your support!
