Woodlands, prairies, wetlands, and more can be explored through exhibits and displays at the Hurstville Interpretive Center. And a brand-new exhibit will soon be available to explore this fall! Jackson County Conservation invites the public to the Hurstville Interpretive Center’s 20th Anniversary Open House Celebration on Sunday, October 27 from 1:00-4:00 PM. The Conservation Department is excited to unveil the new woodland diorama and walk-through cave exhibit!

Jackson County Conservation manages more than 35 parks in the county and the Hurstville Center has been their hub for learning about Iowa’s natural resources for county residents and visitors through exhibits and programming. The new exhibit has been in the planning stages for over a year. Friends of Jackson County Conservation has been instrumental in raising the needed funds to bring this new exhibit to the Center.

The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. For more information, contact Jackson County Conservation at (563) 652-3783. Visit us online at www.JacksonCCB.com.
